Title:
Arrangements for Coach Darryl Dickey
Body:
This weekend, the Hoover Softball Association family lost a very fine person, Coach Darryl Dickey, a good and decent man, who was an outstanding and loving father, loyal HSA volunteer, dedicated coach and a friend to many. We will miss his friendship, his sense of humor and his presence at our park. He was loved by many and he will be missed in both the largest and smallest of ways. His contributions over the past 8 years are both obvious and immeasurable. The flag at our park this week will fly at half mast in honor of Darryl Dickey and for his friendship and dedication to our park. It is with deep sadness and regret that Coach Dickey is no longer with us. Please remember his family in your thoughts and prayers each day. And, may the fond and fun memories of those who shared life with him never be forgotten. They were important and good times that can never be taken away as long as we remember our friend.
VISITATION: Visitation will be on Tuesday May 11th at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on John Hawkins Parkway between Wal-Mart and Hunter Street Baptist Church between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be on Wednesday May 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Hunter Street Baptist Church
Expires:
6/5/2010
